There are lots of rallies and events that occur in the US each year, but virtually none of them are dedicated to the adventure rider.
Here you'll find a series of rides and events that are all tailored specifically to "you" the adventure rider. These events are all
organized by the companies represented in this guide, and are designed to provide you with a wide range of adventures from multi-day
"rallies" to single afternoon adventure rides. You might be wondering why we're doing this. The answer is actually quite simple; we
know that the more fun folks have riding their bikes and actually enjoy being an Adventure Rider the better it will be for all of us.
We want you to have fun and we want you to actually "get some use" from both your motorcycle and the products you've equipped it with.

September 7th - 9th - Northern Idaho
From Saturday through Sunday ride the Lolo Motor Way or any of the great Dual Sport Roads in this area, rich in the culture of the Nez
Perce People as well as the river and logging history.
This area is known for its great roads, both paved and unpaved. Once registered for the ride you will have access to GPX tracks and maps.
Registration includes:
September 11th - 15th (Tuesday - Saturday)
We're making preliminary plans for a five day off-pavement ride leaving from BestRest's World Headquarters (just north of Seattle).
The route will wander thru the mountains of northern Washington, going as far east as the Idaho panhandle.
This will be an intermediate level off-pavement, GS-style ride. We'll be on gravel and dirt, following GPS tracks and/or paper maps.
There will be no support provided - this is a ride where you'll be expected to take care of your own needs. You'll camp in your own tent,
bring and cook your own food, water, refreshments, etc, so you'll need to be totally self-sufficient. Perhaps there'll be a common chili
pot at the campsite but we won't make any promises...
Space is limited to twelve (12) riders. This is due to the primitive campsites and remote country we plan to visit.
Previous camping experience is necessary. Motorcycles must have a range of at least 100 miles. A Washington Discover Pass is probably
going to be required because we'll pass thru some State land. Dual sport tires are mandatory - you can probably make it on Metzler Tourances
but Continental TKC-80's (or their equivalent) are recommended.
There is no fee for this event because it's not really an "event". This is an unguided and informal gathering of friends and riding buddies.
You won't get a T-shirt or an rally pin, and there won't be any door prizes or any of the typical frills you might expect. But you will have fun along the way.
